There aren't that many games more pleasing to the eye than Asphalt 5. And the great thing is that with a Samsung Galaxy S its free in the Samsung App store and $4.99 on reugular high end Android phones, you can read up on it at AppBrain.

For one this game will keep you entertained for ages!! i have had it on my phone for a good 2 weeks and so far i am about halfway through it and i play it a fair bit. Infact i near missed my stop on the London Underground the other day.

So onto the review

Gamplay
To start of with you have one car a Mini Cooper S and it goes all the way up to a Ferrari FXX, there are over 30 cars to unlock in this game. All done with money you earn through winning races, which you can also use for upgrading your car.



When it comes to entertainment this game really does shine through, mainly because it is one hell of a good arcade racer, if you like games like Forza then you might want to try something else. As this game is in the same vein as Burnout or Need for Speed, fun fast paced and easy to get the hang of. The only thing i found slightly annoying was that the learning curve for the Police chase game type was a bit longer than i would have hoped, but its a tiny blemish on an otherwise spotless game.

Graphics

Well as you can see from the photos above this game is a great looking thing of beauty. From the lush scenery to the cars themselves it all looks great. You can even compare the graphics to that of the PS2 easily, which is amazing considering it is on a mobile phone.

i have given this game 5 stars because of the large amount of time i have spent on it and still have a fair amount to do. Plus the graphics are awesome, as per usual Gameloft have produced a great game. Best of all this app is FREE in the Samsung App store.

Now every now and then I move between phones and most of the time (maybe 99%) I usually go between android devices. Last year I used a total of 13 phones in one year, a record for me and one I don't think I could ever beat. By use I mean USED put my sim card in and copied over my whatsapp messages and re-login to everything and use it as my daily driver. Sometimes the playing around would last 2 weeks and other times more, currently the phone I was using the Moto X held the record of 3 months if you include this January. My problem with the Apple Watch

Right so we all know the Apple Watch is out now but I want to come at this from a geek with some nice watchs point of view. Before I start I want to say as much as I bash aspects of the Watch I will probably end up with one, this post is more about the cost of the straps than anything else. What I learnt at Google I/O 2015

The first day of Google I/O centred around the Internet of Things, the next billion and Google Now on tap (read my overview here).
